Designer Baby Clothes

Affordability counts a lot towards the kind of clothes a baby wears, along with the personality of their parents. As parents we all like our babies to be dressed nicely, but there are those who want to go that extra mile.

Dressing babies in designer outfits has always been popular among celebrity parents and those who can afford to, do so. Top designers have been producing fabulous designer clothes for babies over the past few years. Designer baby clothes have been growing in popularity each year, with parents going crazy buying designer outfits, bibs and booties, often paying several times more than they would if they went to a regular department store.

Some of the better known baby designers include Baby Dior, Baby Phat and Baby Gap. Popular photographer, Anne Geddes, has also recently entered the world of designer baby clothes. Known for her photos of babies dressed up as sunflowers, bumble bees, rosebuds and ladybugs, Geddes decided to launch her own line of clothing for babies. Russell Simmons, an American entrepreneur, is the creator of Baby Phat Farm. It's an urban fashion line for baby girls designed by Kimora Lee Simmons, his wife.

The great thing about designer baby clothes is that they are often only worn once or twice, which means they do not wear out so quickly. They are also very popular items to sell on eBay, with some real bargains available. Of course, once your little bundle of joy has worn it a few times, you may well be able to resell it again on eBay, getting some money back for your next designer purchase.

For parents who can't afford brand new designer baby clothes, eBay could be the place for getting hold of top designer names for department store prices.
